Taiyo 太陽 Model

Taiyō 太陽 means 'Sun' in Japanese. This model is created as a limited collection of the Paulina brand. The blade is made of AUS-10 while the handle is made of carbon fiber and gold foil. The twisted Damascus pattern on the blade makes Paulina Taiyō 太陽 look stunning. AUS-10 steel exhibits a hardness spectrum of approximately 58-61 HRC, but with appropriate heat treatment, its maximum hardness level can surpass that. AUS-10 possesses a moderate hardness rating, comparable to VG10 and other similar steels. This level of hardness is suitable for kitchen knives and pocket knives.
